Name is Frank, A.K.A. DJ FMM. Originally from Baltimore, Md. I began DJing hip-hop and rap in 1986 and fell in love with house after visiting a local club, Fantasies, in Baltimore. I remember to this day the song that grabbed me. "Hot for you, what you gonna do" was playing, people were moving, there was this "vibe" in the air, the beat was banging and I was hooked! After that, I began to listen to Marshall Jeffries, Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy, etc. but fell out of djing for a while in the 90's. It wasn't until 2000, after hearing Miguel Migs, Mauricio Aviles, Lisa Shaw, Blue Six, Andy Cladwell and other Naked Music artist that had that deep, soulful house sound that I felt that itch to get back into spinning.
So, you maybe black, you maybe white, you maybe jew or gentile. It don't make no difference in my house! Sit back, relax, and grab a beverage of your choosing (I'll be having a Sweet Baby Jesus!! It's a B-more thang! ). I've got sounds for days!!
