DJ Emerzive has always had a passion for all things music and dance related. Although one of the youngest DJ’s around, Emerzive’s professionalism, passion and knowledge speak for themselves. At the age of fourteen, he began his career by doing small and private events for friends and family as he learned and practiced this newfound passion. He became part of the Ferocity Dance Company as a performer at the age of eighteen, as he transitioned into a Latin Club DJ.
It was during this transition that his love and passion for Bachata music grew - quickly becoming his favorite type of music to mix. At the age of nineteen he fell in love with turntables and learned how to scratch, opening his passion for old school Hip Hop music and continued his passion for working on his technique as a DJ to mix different musical genres. Emerzive has become a young Bachata sensation in the DC area – priding himself on playing different kinds of Bachata music with seamless transitions.
