Born in Germany, Dartanyen moved to the United States in the early 90’s. However he did not settle in one place, moving frequently to such places as the country of Panama, and the US territory of Puerto Rico. Dartanyen found solace in music and the dynamics in which it was played. Fascinated by the intricacies of music, he found himself drawn to electronic music, which was prevalent in Puerto Rico. The energetic DJ’s, style of music and the manner in which it was played inspired Dartanyen to begin DJing himself at the age of 14.
Now a well traveled DJ, having played at clubs in New York City, Charlotte, Atlanta, Miami, San Antonio, and El Paso, Dartanyen has developed a fresh and unparalleled style. The future for Dartanyen promises to bring more success, as both a solo artist and a talented disc jockey. Currently working on more remixes and his first album, things are looking promising in the upcoming years.
