A seventies baby, disco and funk was the popular sound. His mother collected Jazz music and Hip-Hop was on the rise. As a teenager growing up in Brooklyn, his friends, some already DJs, played endless raggae, soca, & calypso rhythms at home and for parties. Soon Eddie could feel the flow and connection between rhythms and could select tracks for his DJ friends. After moving away for college he bought his own turntables and DJ equipment and Eddie S. The DJ Dancer was born, later shortened to DJ DANCER. Influenced by the energy of some of his favorite DJ's (Little Louie Vega, DJ STYFF, Sam 'The Man' Burns, Sedric, Osunlade, etc.) and favorite clubs (Shelter, Sound Factory Bar, Traxx, etc., Eddie fuses the sounds of his upbringing with a very eclectic collection of house music.
