Reverence… in the modern day is often and my opinion wrongly, used in relationship with religion, this is because religion often stimulates the emotion through recognition of a god, the supernatural, and the ineffable… to me it’s an attitude…
This feeling or attitude …a deep respect tinged with awe and veneration.
..an overwhelming sensitivity to greatness and as, acknowledging a subjective response to something excellent in a personal, be it moral or spiritual way …
