Critical Matter - a dangerous combination of drums, bass and groove

Born in South London, the man behind Critical Matter began his music career in the pirate radio and underground dance scene at an early age. Knocking about his estate with a Korg MS2000 and Yamaha DJ100, music production was his thing - and at 18, he began working in a full studio environment. With strong influences from Hip-Hop, Drum n Bass and Electronica, the Critical Matter creator worked with several producers and DJs before being plucked from anonymity by UTeck talent scouts. When he acquired a pair of Technic 1210s, he then turned his talents to playing live DJ sets to further express his music. Djing as a different artist, back in the day - playing alongside Jumping Jack Frost, Kenny Ken, Darren Jay, Brockie, Nicky Blackmarket and Mampi Swift, this seasoned performer developed a unique style of rolling drums n bass that was well received.
