DJ Crazy Cuts is a self taught DJ hobbyist & has no formal DJ training.

Raised in the NW Chicago suburbs.

Early influences were 50’s/60’s oldies with 60’s/70’s classic rock & disco.

Michael Jackson’s Thriller was the first album ever purchased in 1984.

Run-DMC’s Raising Hell received in Easter basket of 1987.

First ever DJ album heard was Bobby D’s Edit Crazy #4 in 1992.

1995 1st gig used 2 CD walkmans, 2 Y-cables & Tape/CD receiver inputs.

Worked as a DJ at a college bar from 1997 – 1998, two to four days a week.

2002 Original mix recorded with a Sony CD Recorder, Sony CD Walkman & a Stanton Pro-30 mixer.

2002 Second mix & June 2004 mix recorded with a Sony CD Recorder, a Sony CD player & Stanton Pro-30 mixer.

October 2004 mix first recorded with 2 Sony CDJ-1000 MKII, Sony DJM-909 and Sony CD Recorder.

November 2014 & March 2017 mixes recorded with Audacity.
