Happy new year! I wanted to kick things off this year on an upbeat, funky tip. This mix goes across lots of different genres, starting with jazzy-rare grooves, moving to disco, afro-latin vibes, reggae, mbaqanga, and more! Some of these tunes I uncovered during my digging in Japan, and this mix has a more global sound with lyrics in many different languages! I hope that this year will be another great year of good music & connections. If you enjoy this mix, please spread the word... I am trying to spread these good vibes as far & wide as I can!
