When it comes to music, "It's Magic!"

Keeping in spirit with my latest quest for global grooves, this time I put the focus more on modern production, featuring irresistible new grooves from a host of artists, as well as classic tunes given a bit of an update. Start with some afro-brazilian grooves, then after some exultations by the great Fela Kuti, move into some latin grooves and UK breakbeats... then move to the uplifting grooves of Lee McDonald, Glenn Jones, & Donny Hathaway, all given the modern touch by various DJs. On continuing the uplifting grooves of Hathaway, we move to Michael the Lion's latest disco jam "Side of Life," a re-cut underground disco classic, & Bosq's irresistible "Take Me There." Moving back into latin territory is Quantic's latin burner "Sabor" and then into the modern electro-afro-clash of Ibibio Sound Machine & Diron the Animal, rounding off the mix with two delectable afro grooves from the Souljazz orchestra & Lakuta.
