I wanted to put together a series of "kitchen sink" mixes that I could use at home or in the gym. You're welcome to use them the same way, or dance to them, or play them in the background while you fold laundry. I don't care. You won't hurt my feelings.
This one starts with a remix of Depeche Mode's "Should Be Higher," running just under 100 BPM, and then jumps up to around 130 BPM for most of the remainder of the mix. Yes, some of the tracks are looooong, but that's by design. I didn't focus on perfect transitions, but they're not bad; I was especially happy with the mix from "Passive Aggressive" to "Self Control."
Mixed manually from CDs, with no laptops, MIDI controllers, or auto-sync. Post prod applied to smooth out levels and add DJ drops.
Hope you enjoy it!

Nice eclectic mix of seemingly random tracks.
Thank you, KLH! Yeah, most of the "Workout Sets" won't have a theme, and most of them will be pretty self-serving - just stuff that I'd like to have available when I visit the gym.
There are some tracks that I'll include for other reasons (for instance, Paramore is in Workout Set 4 because my wife digs Paramore), but for the most part, I just think to myself, "What random crap do I want to throw together for my workouts?" - and then I hope that other people will enjoy them as well. :)
Thank you for the compliment!
(On a related note, I really wish Mixcloud would allow me to enter proper line breaks into my replies!)
