It's always nice to say "Tonight's a special night..." but, I think tonight's genuinely going to be extraordinary. I've revisited a list of classic KTOW tunes that I remembered and I've purchased several of the ones I didn't already have. So, toni…
Hello, everyone. I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude. THANK YOU, so VERY much, to all of you who have taken the time to tune in to my broadcasts. I truly appreciate it, from the bottom of my weird little heart.
NEXT Wednesday, February 1st, I'll present the next Hump Day Session, the popular CLUB RANDO, at 9 PM central time. Club Rando is a very non-serious broadcast, including tracks from any genre or era - a true "kitchen sink" set. It's accompanied by…
All right, everyone... it's almost that time again. Around 7 PM central (maybe a few minutes after), it'll be time to start another round of Radio SRO followed by the Groovy Train.
Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come to bring back the Hump Day Sessions - the informal, wacky DJ sets that I used to spin sometimes on Wednesday nights to celebrate making it halfway through the week.
Following a REALLY successful daytime set on Monday, a full set of Radio SRO and the Groovy Train will be played this coming Friday, starting at 7 PM central time (1 AM UK time).
I'm currently presenting a special early edition of Radio SRO's GROOVY TRAIN, accompanied by the light and laser system of Tulsa's Fascination Street.

I'm a DJ/producer/remixer from Oklahoma - the owner of Awesome! Retro DJ Service (awesomeretrodj.com) and DJ for the semi-pseudo-sorta-regular-ish Radio SRO/Groovy Train stream (radiosro.net, 7 PM central on most Saturdays). I started in the mobile DJ industry in 1988, then moved on to radio work, club DJing, and even a regular remix review column in a nationally-published magazine. It's been a very interesting journey.
I don't DJ from a laptop or MIDI controller, sticking with real vinyl and CDs. Even though I know that playing from a hard drive would be more convenient, I love being an old-school vinyl jock. No auto-sync here.
Dance/club tracks of the mid-1980s through the mid-1990s are my specialty. I also have a special fondness for downtempo/trip-hop, and I collect rare DJ remix service issues.
Finally, it's worth noting that I'm a Depeche Mode FREAK, a necktie enthusiast, and a collector of Atari 2600 games. To learn more, please visit djbadger.com.
