I'm thrilled to FINALLY be able to offer the third in the Progression Series - "Active Progression!"
I'm not going to candy-coat it: This mix was a NIGHTMARE on multiple levels. Yes, it was done from all vinyl. Yes, all of the transitions were done manually. However... you don't even want to know how many technical issues I had to fix before I finally had this thing ready to go. It ended up getting delayed for about a month! (Among other things, I had to scrap and re-record the whole damned thing at one point.)
After all was said and done, though, I was really quite happy with the result.
As with the rest of the Progression Series mixes, this is mainly a celebration of the club culture of the late 1980s/very early 1990s, not a quick mix. Some mega-rare extended versions were used. Adjustments were made and drops were added in post-production.

Thank you very much once again! I think you'll really like the next Progression Series mix as well. It'll be slower than the three so far, and it will have three tracks that were actually successful 80s pop hits (for instance, Tears for Fears' "Shout"), but all of those tracks will be from artists in the progressive/post-modern vein. :) Stay tuned!
