Mohamed Naaif (Baapu) started off his DJ career in 2006 where he quickly built up a reputation for great music selection and an energetic mixing style. With an upbringing that involved music from a very young age, Baapu has had hands on experience in most areas in the music industry.

His passion for music started during his school days where he was in a couple of bands as a singer and guitarist. Soon after he found his true calling, DJ ing. After learning from the already established producers in the Maldives Baapu quickly made it on to the Resort scene where he has been a regular for the last 10 years. Baapu with his vast knowledge in various genres of music, is able to adapt to any situation, environment, night or day to even sunset sessions.

As one of the youngest to break into the Scene in 2007 DJ B (Baapu) has been synonymous with dance music culture here in the Maldives and continues to push boundaries with his contribution to the art of DJing
