Beginning in 1995, DJ Brandon (DJB) quickly at the early age of 18 became one of Oakland’s (Eastbay) House DJ’s. Mixing sounds from Baltimore, Chicago,Gospel,Tribal,Soulful House kept folks on the Dance floor, going in! He’s consistent with beat mixing and knowing what the crowd wants to hear.
He started out playing alongside DJ Terry Hayes at Cables Reef. Cables Reef was the Hottest Gay Club in Oakland for a very long time, where you can hear nothing but the BEST house music. San Francisco kids ventured across the bay to go in.
After DJ Terry Hayes retired, DJ Brandon took over DJing from 1996 - 2000 Friday and Saturday nights at Cables Reef

DJ Brandon played for 2 years for a successful party that kept pumping the Beats for the community many years after.
At the same time DJ Brandon played the First Gay Pride Oakland (Eastbay) 1999
From then on DJB played many clubs and alongside other great DJ’s and musicians.
