Andy Spence (DJ ASPEN) is the original founder of the reborn club night; he has been Djing since 1996 in various clubs around Yorkshire as well as being resident Friday and Saturday night dj at Thomas’ Club in Harrogate until 2002. He took time out from djing in 2003 due to on call work commitments until 2008 when he was asked to promote and run a one off night in Knaresborough called Thomas’ Reunion which evolved to retro reborn and was given a monthly residency. After moving to Keighley he ended the night in Knaresborough and a year later started retro reborn at Club 101 in Keighley and saw the night grow from strength to strength with a weekly residency as well as playing other nights in clubs around Yorkshire.
