San Diego based, DJ Animate started out listening to Electronic music at the age of 18. Went to some L.A. parties and fell in love with Trance and Drum and Bass. He loved Drum and Bass so much that he started to DJ in 2005. Animate was a bedroom dj for about 2 years till July 2007 when he and DJ Scenario started a Drum and Bass weekly show called Knight Vision. Knight Vision has been going on strong every Wednesday in San Diego with special guests like Esassin, Unknown Error, Subsonik, Terrivita, MC XYZ, MC Dino and much more. Animate likes to keep his mixes versatile and as clean as possible while still keeping the crowd going with his Jump up Dancefloor sound. His influences are Andy C, Sub focus, Pendulum, Diesel Boy, Dara, AK1200, Subsonik, and the SD local talent. Animate is always working on mixes and the latest sets to keep the party alive.
