All Beats. All Boots. All Black...Zvetschka [say "ZVETCH- ka"] is a Brooklyn-based multi genre DJ and live remix artist focusing on EBM, Industrial, and the darker side of Techno. A long-time collaborator in the NYC scene, she cut her teeth working with the legendary Goth/Industrial party, Contempt, starting in 2002. More recently, she has DJ'd a host of events in NYC, generating a reputation for seamless, coherent and exciting sets. Following the tradition of innovative and iconic 80’s megamix masters, The Latin Rascals, Zvetschka’s real-time, digital “tape” edits chop, splice & rearrange phrases and beats, creating razor sharp, ecstatic new twists on dark electronic classics and new favorites. Zvetschka’s rapid fire, simultaneous multi-track cueing and thoughtful layering bring the cut-up style that was invented in NYC’s nascent golden age of master mixes, to the stomp and grind of EBM, Industrial, Electro and Dark Techno dance floors.
