DJ Purrr pounced into life in April 2012, on a whim of 'everybody else is doing it, maybe i should try!'. It turns out Purrr was a natural! Well Purrr is not a selfish kittycat, if you have a gift you should share the wealth...and so arrives DJ Purrr on the scene, securing her debut gig at Ministry of Sound 08.09.12. DJ Purrr rose from the ashes of a mis-spent youth spent listening to rock, goth 'n' grunge bands, progressing music taste wise onto world music switched on by electronic sounds and tribal rhythm at the iconic Whirly-gig which opened up the world of early 90's trance...ahhhh yes those days were good...Now DJ Purrr loves most genres of house music...funky, deep, tech, progressive, electro and disco....if the tune is good the tune is good, 'nuff said...
So DJ Purrr loves it cheeky n dirty, and loves a darn good mash-up so the style of Purrr is a little out of its box, rules need to be broken every now and again after all.... isn't that what its all about anyway...enjoy!
