From the restless streets of New York City, DIMSVM (pronounced as Dim Sum) is an electrifying Asian DJ/producer duo known for their heavy bass, high-energy EDM tracks, and a flair for the humorous and rebellious.
DIMSVM’s sound is a unique fusion inspired by EDM powerhouses like Skrillex, Virtual Riot, Subtronics, Knock2, with an unconventional background from Emo and Metalcore music. Alfonso started his musical journey in 2010 as a guitarist in Metalcore bands before diving into the limitless world of EDM. Meeting Eric, who was already DJing in 2019; both shared a deep love for Bass House, Trap, and Dubstep. Their synergy was undeniable, leading to the birth of DIMSVM. Together, they’ve embraced a fun, meme-infused approach to their music, aiming to shock and delight with every performance.
While still carving their path, DIMSVM has already made waves by hosting and selling out their own show in 2019, gathering a passionate community of Asian ravers for an unforgettable night.
