Disco Dancing 80s is a show based on the weekly Disco/Club Charts published during the 80s in Record Mirror.

It featured on the radio every Saturday night between May 2018 and April 2019 ... and the archive remains here on Mixcloud in its entirety. Floorfillers aplenty - from million-selling essentials, to groovy album tracks and B-sides, to promo-only oddities, all designed to get the place bouncing! Soul and funk, house and hip-hop, and all the sub-genres that emerged from within... You'll find 1,000 different tracks from the 80s in total, 20 per show, 100 per year, with nothing repeated, and every edition comes with a tracklist.

I have spent two decades as a DJ on commercial radio throughout the UK, specialising latterly in 80s shows, and I'm a veteran of retro club nights across the north.
