CRUX is the brainchild of a collective of local DJs, artists and performers who want to explore the darker side of music in one of the most isolated capital cities in the world.

Drawing talent from many notable sources - including sIn Club, HEXX, Descent, Club Freak, The Gathering, Spank, Lazarus, Artifactory, Drohtnung and RTR FM's Behind the Mirror - the group decided they wanted to return to their DIY roots and host a new event that would cater to a broad range of tastes.

Metal, goth, post-punk, noise, doom, industrial, punk and everything in between - they want to sate a desire to hear all these genres in one place. But their main goal is to provide a beat you can dance to, and explore the newer side of dark alternative music.
