Creative Underground is a podcast dedicated to presenting fresh creative talent from South Africa as well as playing a fine selection of global music apart from the mainstream.

The name Creative Underground was drawn from two ideas: “Creative” was inspired by the belief that there are so many creative minds out there that on the hand deserve to be heard and on the other might just need a bit of inspiration from other creatives on how to go forward with their art. „Underground“ stands for music apart from the mainstream and the same major label pop formula. Underground describes artists that have both a fresh, independent approach to sounds as well as an artistic vision and integrity.

Every month, a new hour-long episode will be released consisting of an interview with a young South African creative sharing their story, accompanied by a fine selection of underground selection of music, old and new, from all corners of the world.
