The Tracklist Matters!

Recently, a number of us in the pro content creators community were invited by headquarters to share our thoughts on making radio show tracklists publicly available to listeners.

As a radio DJ myself, I strongly support this idea. It's a valuable feature, especially for those who do not announce tracks on air and instead, as I now often do myself, focus on seamless music mixing, without spoken commentary.

Up to now, I've been posting my tracklists in the comments section of each show (an improvised stopgap solution) while sharing them separately as images across my social media channels. Lately I've brought back an old station playlist-sheet format: clean, easy to read, and perfectly in tune with the spirit of the station. Here are the tracklists from my latest three episodes.

Hopefully, the community's feedback will help make public tracklists an official feature. For listeners, it's a great way to discover new music, identify obscure tracks, and connect more deeply with the sets they enjoy.
