Cozee acquired his first set of KAM belt drive decks and mixer for his 13th birthday. He spent much of his earlier years running club nights and DJ'ing mainly in and around the Glasgow area including the Loftsessions and Glasgow House Theory.

Over the last 20 years Cozee has channeled his musical energies into putting together DJ mixes designed for the after party. Until recently he has only opted to play a live set on very few occasions such as the now defunct Bbr Music. However his recent move to Japan has brought him into contact with the like-minded Tony Inkwell Conte who manages the popular Bar Hug in Yokohama prompting the start of the monthly "Cozee Saturday's".

These nights are aimed at providing Yokohama’s Night Owls with the opportunity to listen to some of Cozee’s favorite Electronic music in one of the City’s most intimate, friendliest and coolest venues.
