Cowen (real name; Chris Owen) is 23 years old and was born in Blackpool, England. Living and growing up by the seaside played a huge factor in his musical career. Since the age of 12, Cowen has been hooked on the EDM scene. On his 13th Christmas, he received Pioneer Turntables for his main present, along with a few Trance vinyls. Cowen taught himself from this moment and onwards, asking people advice on how to do different things along the way. Cowen received an invitation to record one of his mixes at a music studio in Liverpool after winning a competition. Following the studio session, he was then invited to play a 30 minute slot at a local club in Blackpool, of which saw him play next to some of the great current Trance and Electro producers.

His main influences that make him strive for success within the music industry are Armin van Buuren and Tiesto. This can be heard by the style of music that Cowen plays in his sets. Aggressive, Innovative and Cutting Edge.
