Cowboys & Indies is a radio program on CJAM 99.1FM in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. We are in our 33rd year of broadcasting British Indie & Alternative music in the Windsor/Detroit area.
The show has seen the rise (and fall) of the indie(C86), shoegazing, riot girl and Britpop scenes. In some cases, being the only place where you could hear this music on the radio.
With all the great music available we often run out of time on the weekly show. Now we can post added mixes and themes to keep the vibe going through the week.
