Alex Steele and Treymon Ellis make up Contenders. Based out of Orlando, FL soon to be UCF Alumni, this duo is making their way into the EDM community. The group was formed in 2014 when peaking interests in EDM brought forth the creation of Contenders. The turning point for Alex ( Big AL) was when Tiesto released his album Kaleidoscope. He is the most influential dj/producer in Alex's career. Trey ( DJ Evad3) started taking djing seriously in 2011 when he started to play local gigs in Orlando. The most influential producer for him is Laidback Luke and has incorporated a lot of his style into his mixing. From consistent appearances at nightclubs like Firestone Live and Tier to their first Beatport Release back in January , the Contenders are looking to make their mark on the EDM music community.
