Starting as a teenager, Mikey, aka complex autist, developed a skill for djing, playing largely house and breabeat.

At 17, after attending The Orbit in Morley, Leeds got quite heavily into techno. A couple of years later, Mikey was 1 half of the Techno duo The Inspectors, with fellow electronic musician Dodgy Edgy, aka Chris. Played around the UK, including a number of events in Scotland, including supporting Neil Landstrumm at Studio 54.

Over the next couple of decades Complex Autist was born due to struggles with cptsd and autism, focusing on calming life down and looking after mental health and wellbeing.

Now 20 years on, Complex Autist, Mikey, still mixes tunes with the sparse piece of production.
