ClockwOrq is a South African based Podcast and is both presented and produced by a Deep Mike. Initially the shows name was ‘Euphoric Soul Radio’ but due to changes in the planning of the show the name was changed as well.
The purpose of the show is to bring a simulation of radio to my home (I have this thing for radio really) while at the same time sharing it! ClockwOrq comes from an idea of a show that two friends and I had a few years ago which for some reason did not work out.
The show is done on a fortnightly basis-yes when some individuals get paid… the focus is on good House music-if it’s good we’ll definitely play it. Funny content is included as well-we can’t really be too serious now can we?
Ok, so this is how it works: We have a guest come to the show, we do a short interview and then a live mix all in 60 minutes, if for some reason the guest is not able to come to the studio; we will play a mix tape and have a telephonic chat with the guest.
