ClassicCCM

Welcome to Classic CCM Rewind.

There was a time when discovering new Christian music meant walking into a Christian bookstore, flicking through racks of vinyl and cassettes, reading every word of the liner notes, and taking a chance on an album because the cover looked interesting.

For many of us, these records became much more than music.

They became the soundtrack to our faith, our friendships, our teenage years, our road trips and our lives.

The podcast interview series, Beyond the Chorus and the music mix, Classic CCM Rewind is about going back to those records and discovering the stories we never got to hear and registering to the music that shaped our 70's, 80's and 90's.

I wanted to create a place where we could talk to the artists who made those records, revisit the albums that shaped a generation, and find out what happened after the final song faded out.

Because there is so much more to these stories than just the hits.
