The CIS Games 2025 will be held in Ganja, Azerbaijan from August 15–28, 2025, marking the third edition of this prestigious multi-sport event uniting athletes from Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) nations. With the motto “Unity Through Sport,” over 3,000 athletes from countries like Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and more will compete in 20+ sports disciplines. Ganja, Azerbaijan’s second-largest city, will showcase its 2,500-year heritage across 12 modern venues, including the new Ganja Sports Palace and Ganja Olympic Stadium. The CIS Games celebrate regional cooperation, athletic excellence, and cultural exchange across member and associate nations.
