The Lord God himself founded the ministry as the present-day ministry of Jesus Christ using my husband, Rev. G. Obidinma Okonkwo and I Rev. Mrs V.E Uwechue Obidinma Okonkwo as human agents.

The ministry came into being following a series of messages which the Lord gave us in visions. In one of the visions on 5th April 1983, the Lord for the first time after my conversion said to me “This is the beginning of the Ministry of the Now”. Later the Lord gave the name of the Ministry as CHRIST THE LORD MINISTRY.
