Chris Morgan cover image

Southampton, United Kingdom

Chris has been an avid lover of electronic music from a young age, purchasing his first Vinyl decks in 1999 and never loosing that "Bug" of mixing tracks and loving the music he plays ever since. He started out going to Hard House events, mainly Slinky at the Opera House, pretty much every Friday. He soon moved on to also love Trance. Chris was always one to record every Essential Mix on Radio One on Saturdays (1am to 3am) via TDK cassette tapes of the time. Big influences were Eddie Halliwell, Fergie and Lisa Lashes from the very beginning. This changed after first experiencing Sasha and John Digweed at Homelands for the very first time in 2001. This set his direction in music towards Progressive/Tech House where James Zabiela then became a big inspiration of his to this day. You will now catch him playing what he loves which is predominantly Disco/Dirty Tech House and Breaks. His influences right now are Matthew Bushwaka, Erol Alkan, Justin Robertson and Greg Wilson.
