Collecting records and DJing for 27 years, Chito discovered his love of house music while attending many of the major underground events in the bay area. With a family rich in musical roots Chito found his outlet, used Technics 1200’s while digging at the Berryessa flea market. Chito was host/DJ of MNL (Monday Night Live) a weekly event that spanned 5 years at the infamous Johnny V’s bar and later at the Blue Monkey Lounge in Downtown San Jose. Now residing in Bakersfield California, Chito has been a resident for events by The Mothership, and Independent Minds. Now a resident dj with the Darkside Djs, Chito is helping forge the house scene in Bakersfield with the monthly events Bassmint and the all vinyl night: RECtify. Showing versatility Chito spun over 4 years on-air weekly, midnites Saturday into Sunday morning on Groove99.3 FM. Only concerned with keeping people moving Chito's sets can span many genres all with the goal to make you move!!!
