Officially formed in October 1995, four groups - Audio FX, Grand Groove, Icon Events, Fascinations - were asked to collaborate and DJ a mutual friend's 18th birthday party, organically forming a “super group” eventually named the Cerritos All Stars.
Over the span of the first 15 years, the All Stars gained international acclaim, winning
a fair share of awards and touring the globe to showcase our talents. CAS also maintained a very popular internet radio show, “The Cerritos All Stars Live Mixshow” for over a decade originating back to 2002/2003, and continues to stream content 24/7.
CAS aims to influence the next generation of turntablists, and complete the cipher, ever mindful of the turntablists that came before them. CAS Radio in the 2000s was our voice, our chosen medium to spread peace, love, and music. Now celebrating 30-years as a DJ collective, who knows when the momentum will ever stop for this talented group of individuals.
