Ceremony Shadows is a Darkwave band based in Portland, OR.

Our music is influenced by our diverse geographical upbringing across the USA, Germany and Poland, and lifelong immersion in alternative music scenes and cultures.

Originally a solo project, our ambient compositions have been featured at the Sonic Matter experimental music festival in Zürich, Switzerland in 2021, and placed in the Top 10 of both the 2023 and 2024 AI Song Contest.

Visual presentation is very important to us, and our live performances are unique experiences across sound, light and space.

Artists like Boy Harsher, The Knife, Depeche Mode, Kite and Coil have been mentioned as occupying similar sonic territory.
