Cat Bungee is a DJ and producer from Stuttgart, who was active under the name Phonkmaster until 2025. He has been part of the electro and dance scene since the 90s as both a DJ and event organizer. With the DJ collective Swing United, he helped shape the Electroswing scene in Germany in the mid-2000s, and also found success with the sound system Monkeystyle, which became known regionally for its escalating electro sound. On their parties, artists like Marten Hörger played even before they gained international success.
Today, Cat Bungee is active in the fields of house, bass house, progressive house, and tech house, with influences from electro, and melodic techno. As the name suggests, Cat Bungee is a colorful, cheerful bungee jump through the world of electronic music – from deep and dreamy to pushing powerhouse sounds.
