The Carolina Review is the journal of conservative thought and opinion published at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, founded by a group of graduate and undergraduate students in 1993. We have been the most visible and consistent voice of conservatism on campus, providing students with an alternative to the left-wing orthodoxy promoted by other student publications, professors, and student groups. During its twenty plus year existence, the Review has enabled UNC students to hear both sides of issues, while combining reporting with opinion, humor and feature articles.
