A delicate desert flower born & raised in the New Mexico desert, hailing from Albuquerque, Carla currently calls San Francisco, CA her home. An artist in every shape and form, her love of music & creativity is beyond anything material. She literally has music in her DNA; after growing up with a guitarist father who owned a professional recording studio, and spending her childhood immersed in live music, she has an impeccable ear for sound.
As a promoter she has spearheaded countless electronic music endeavors – everything from club nights, to underground urban parties, to off-the-radar outdoor desert events. She sees music as her personal religion, and the dance floor as sacred grounds. In many respects, this music saved her life & she feels a deep seeded commitment to give that energy back.
Carla is currently tromping on the front lines apart of the crew with Vinyl Dreams Records Store on Haight Street.
