As the hip hop culture continues to give birth to new talent, purveyor of infectous feel good music, Samora Siwundla known by his stage name Camo is a Cape Town DJ who is credited with promoting his own shows.
Camo has played in local clubs in Cape Town & Johannesburg, holding residencies and DJing special events. His style typifies a soulful array of musical genres with a foundation of hip hop music. Never afraid to introduce new sounds, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy.
Having grown up to a combination of jazz, soul & rhythm & blues, infused with his love for hip-hop, Camo ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. He translates it into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music. His love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a composer, and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically.
