Calypso is the Drum & Bass project of Thalia Sklair.

An established Techno / Progressive DJ since 2005 and Psychedelic Trance since 2010, Thalia is no stranger to Johannesburg's underground, and hints of these elements are most certainly heard in her d&b as well.

Being brought up in a Jazz household and being a Jazz vocalist herself has also influenced her sound, which amalgamates in a love for any kind of intelligent music that moves her.

Calypso first rose from the seas on the shores of Mozambique, revealing her song at Mozamboogy 2016, and has since played at Merkaba Sunday and Revolution NYE.. 2 of Joburg's top underground events.
