CALABASH CREW - The female side of Milan
Calabash Crew is a full Dj, singer and dancer Crew born in 2013, near Milan. Since September 2014 Calabash Crew has become resident sound of Leoncavallo SPA in a partnership with Junior Sprea and Serious Thing Sound, creating the project «Run di Danz». Between 2014 until now, Run di Danz brought to Milan a lot of artists and sounds like Gappy Ranks, King Addis, Massive B, Bass Odissey, Shenseea, King Jam, Warrior Sound Int’l, Heavy Hammer and Sentinel Sound.
In 2014 Calabash Crew started to organize the reggae-dancehall parties «SoYard». In 2016 the ladies took part in the “Mortal Kombat Soundclash” and placed second. In 2018 Miss Nina became the Milan Dancehall Queen and soon became Twerk Queen of Swizzerland. In 2019 Calabash Crew won the “Mortal Kombat Soundclash Unchained Edition” and took part in “Friendly Fire SoundClash” vs BaddaPum Intl, in Munich. It has been one of the first all-female sound clash in Europe ever.
