C-Roy discovered hip-hop very early on in life. Inspired by the "rebellious and edgy fresh sounds of the 90's," he instantly fell in love. Around age six C-Roy began to write down thoughts in the form of rhyme with close friends. C-Roy remembers purchasing his first two music tape cassettes around age ten(Naughty By Nature's "Poverty's Paradise" and Salt n Pepa's "Very Necessary"). While working odd jobs in retail and picking up the electrical trade, the years passed, and hip-hop continued mesmerizing and inspiring C-Roy to the point of realizing his own dream and destiny of becoming a professional hip-hop lyricist. Then one day in the Winter of '09, that dream began to come into fruition. During a short visit to his hometown, a close cousin and hip-hop producer Chad Lenseth(Infinite Kid), and himself, agreed to launch an independent record label under the name "Product of Myth". Two years later, in April of 2011, Product of Myth successfully built it's own home recording studio.
