Oliver Baurhenn is a German curator and festival organizer exploring experimental music, digital culture, and contemporary art. He is founding director of CTM Festival and served as co-director from 2002 to 2024, shaping its global profile in sound and media art. His work bridges underground scenes and institutions, focusing on the interplay of technology, sound, and society. With a background in literary and cultural studies, he explores sound as a spatial and auditory element in visual art. As co-founder of Kunstruimte-Berlin and General Public, he collaborates internationally to expand sound’s role in exhibitions. He has contributed to European projects like SoCCoS and SHAPE+, supporting emerging artists. Baurhenn has led numerous exhibitions and performances across Europe and works as a Sound Supervisor, with notable projects including *Blackland* at the Egyptian Museum Berlin.
