Hi! I'm CRMBS, an electronic artist, producer, and DJ hailing from Minneapolis, MN. I grew up as a classically trained percussionist, and I've been performing live since age 5. I spent my summers as a teen touring the nation, honing my craft in the elite and competitive world of Drum Corps International, or DCI. Since then, I've been a part of all types of musical projects ranging from jazz, to rock, to folk, both as a drummer and singer/songwriter.
My goal with CRMBS is to blend the excitement and musicianship of live performance instruments and drumming, with the vast sonic capabilities inherent to the electronic music and DJ'ing format. Most of all... it's about having a good time, and allowing rhythm to move you. F*@k genres. F*@k preconceived notions of what a DJ or a drummer is. This is neither. And both.
