TRADE SPACE BERLIN is a community space for artists and musicians to share knowledge and experience and to collaborate. The foundation for this is CCTV RADIO, a new open-minded radio station in Berlin, broadcasting Berlin’s (and beyond) diverse musical landscape online. A critical hub the city is missing at the moment is a space that’s detached from nightlife and what goes along with it. Berlin, its diverse sound and its undiscovered talent are lacking an open, central plat- form for Showcase and discovery.
Aditionally, Regular radio hosts give workshops in the community space. These workshops range from music production and DJing, over screenprinting workshops for merchandise and to how to get a visa as a musician in Berlin. The Space available for workshops is 150 square meters big, 25 sqm are aditionally availale for radio. This project is the cornerstone for a future development plan for social and cultural projects, ateliers, music studios and community spaces.
