DJ BRUKH is a 22yr old female DJ from New Zealand. Her passion for music started at an early age when she started dancing at around 6yrs old. This formed the foundation for her love of music and most importantly her rhythm. She moved to London for work and this introduced her to the more underground sounds in the city. From attending parties in Brixton, Vauxhall and around South London especially club nights System and DMZ crew listening to DJ’s such as Mala, Coki and Loefa, also Vivek, Hatcha and Jkenzo. This inspired her to explore DJing and create her own sound. She has a very wide collection of music from Jazz, Funk, Soul, Hip Hop to Deep Dubstep and Drum & Bass.

When creating her lounge bar sets she likes to combine elements of J Dilla, Herbie Hancock, Guru, Dizzy Gillespie, Jazz Liberators, Anderson Paak, proving that her knowledge for all styles of lounge music is very advanced for her age.
