BoomSlang's first hip hop event was back in May 2015 featuring Saigon rap stars Hazard Clique in the main room and the now infamous Saigon Dub Station upstairs. From that starting point, BoomSlang has had parties in some of Saigon's best bars and spaces. La Canalla, Indika, Broma, Outcast, Rogue and Piu Piu have all opened their doors to BoomSlang's signature sound of boom-bap beats, old school hip hop, funk, and soul.

BoomSlang DJs Binaural Dropout and Stav have had a combined experience of 25 years DJing and promoting parties. Both hailing from the UK, each DJ brings their own unique sounds, styles and grooves with a passion for finding new music and getting on that mission like Indiana Jones, digging up the musical past. True artiologists championing all elements of hip hop and lighting a joint to every b-boy, graffiti writer, deejay, emcee, and beatmaker out there.
