Blott writes, records and performs original electronic, synth based music.
Originally inspired by the futuristic, electronic synth sounds of late 70's and early 80's, artists such as Human League, Gary Numan, Depeche Mode and Ultravox were very influential, but others like The Beatles, Killing Joke, The Jam, Squeeze, Pulp, The Levellers, Dexys Midnight Runners, The Stranglers, Buzzcocks, The Police, Julian Cope and The Divine Comedy were massive influences too, so my music often has big swirly synths, fused with punky guitar and orchestral string arrangements.
