With over 40 years behind the decks, Steve Blackwax has built a reputation for delivering soulful, uplifting and dancefloor-focused sets rooted in soul, house, disco and hip-hop.
Former frontman of Blackwax Records, Steve’s lifelong passion for music has taken him from record shop culture to dancefloors around the world. A long-standing resident at Bump N Hustle and Vocal Booth Weekender, he has also appeared at festivals including Cross The Tracks, We Out Here and Jurassic Dance.
As a producer, Steve has released music on respected labels including Tone Control Music, Soulfunktion, Tony Records and HouseHead London, and is now part of the internationally acclaimed Bah Samba collective.
From Bournemouth to New York, Chicago, Ibiza and beyond, Steve continues to bring deep musical knowledge, infectious energy and quality selections to every set.
